Anne Rice

I wish all the haters would just get off of Anne Rice's case already. So she went totally Christian, so what! That doesn't make her less of a complete genius author. I find it to be very narrow minded for anyone to judge her or write her off for such a personal decision. We'll always have the old books. In my heart, Lestat will never die. She's not standing on a soapbox demanding her older books to be burned. She's just moving on. I've read the new books, and I love them. No, they're not the Vampire Chronicles, or the Mayfair Witches, they're about Christ The Lord and her Journey Out of Darkness. If you ever appreciated Anne Rice, you can appreciate what she has to say now, just as much as before. I'm proud of the courage she's shown in standing up for what she believes in. I just find it a bit sad that she has to stand up so voraciously against her own "fans". Get a life people. If you don't like it, don't read it. Go write your own vampire novel and shut the hell up!
